Everyday Chishang

The exhibition Everyday Chishang was held from June 21 to June 28, 2022, at Shih Chien University in Taipei. This exhibition showcased a diverse range of projects that explored the intersection of rural life, cultural heritage, and innovative community development strategies in Chishang, Taitung. Through creative proposals and research-based projects, the exhibition aimed to highlight the unique identity of Chishang while fostering connections between tradition and modernity. The venue was transformed with rustic elements, such as rice husks from the Jianxing Rice Factory in Chishang, to evoke a sense of place and deepen the audience’s connection to the region.

For this exhibition, I presented my research project titled:Public Facility Design:

Chishang Public Market Renewal Plan – The Market as the Heart of the Community.

This project focused on revitalizing the Chishang public market as a central hub for community interaction, emphasizing its potential to connect different generations and foster a sense of belonging.
